Mount Vernon is a historic gem in Fairfax County. However, its economic progress has stalled behind other areas in Fairfax. We need to attract businesses and good jobs inside the district, improve access to transportation options for residents to reach work, education, and economic opportunity. We need to support more affordable housing in the area and bring back to life George Washington’s backyard!
